It seems to be that the colour for S/S 2011 is blue, which is refreshing after so many continuous neutrals. Intense blues have made their way into plenty of shows for spring/summer 2011. Silk and Satin, in decidedly oceanic colours, were seen throughout collections. Fun and Feminine, blue seems to be the shade for carrying vibrant colour into your look.
Seen on the catwalk recently the color blue was used in a single hue not only in handbags and shoes, but also as embellishment.
Jason Wu and Versace as well as Balenciaga, Dolce & Gobbana and Jil Sander all included bright blue hues in their collections.
Done here with the A/W 2010 trend of wearing colour head to toe, this outfit certainly puts a splash of colour in your day.
